This is the first batch of 2020!

Castmi, Thorly Education, AcceleratorApp, Onalytics, TOPO, Dizconto, eParkio, Detox in a Box, Fumeiro do Mar, Kitchen Villages, MIAP (you already know these last three, right?), LocalAPP and Diverge Sneakers, welcome to Startup Lisboa! Last Friday we gathered a team here at Rua da Prata to receive the first batch of the year. This time, 13 startups have joined us, physically and virtually, to make the ecosystem shine a little bit more. Do you want to know them better? Follow us around here. 💙

What is it that unites beers and financing?

Our beerstorming! We gathered our new startups and some of the oldest ones (not that type of old 😉) and ran a beerstorming session. And what is this? Nothing more, nothing less than a few founders (more or less experienced) together to discuss some of the most critical topics in the life of a startup, its problems, challenges and solutions. This time, we focused on financing and counted on the participation of our mentor Álvaro Pinto, co-founder of Aptoide, to help us in this discussion. How good it is to be able to bring us all together like this! Who wants the next one? ☝️☝️

Lisboa is the Green Capital 2020!

Together with 200 other companies, startups and institutions, we signed a green commitment to the city of Lisbon and decided to #evoluir. Next week, we’ll talk a little bit more about this topic because it doesn't end here. 😉

Building the Future

We have many some serious shapers in here, and this shows the number of startups participating in the most relevant entrepreneurship and innovation events there. 😏 This time it was Microsoft's Building the Future - an event that brings together technology, innovation and transformation. YData, LUGGit, Mapidea, Decision Eyes, Drivit, DefinedCrowd, Keep Warranty, LOQR, EMOTAI, Learninghubz and Glartek, we loved seeing you here!

Maison Pixel

We can't talk about e-commerce without mentioning one of our funniest startups: Maison Pixel. Yes, it is original, we know, but once you use a pixel, you can never go back (that's what people say, isn't it?). Never thought about wearing this type of clothing? Probably. But are you saying now that you don't have enough curiosity not to visit the site? We know ... Just tell us how to resist buying other underwear or a pixelated bikini. 😏
