We left you singing and in a more relaxed mood, didn't we? Good, because that's the way we want you to be while you're reading this newsletter. Primeiro edifício do Hub Criativo do Beato abre no início do segundo semestreWe don't want to say that the ecosystem began with us - because that's not true - but we do want to say that one of the reasons we are most proud of is being around since it all started, with all the ups and downs, and seeing constant changes and improvements every day!
Today, after 8 years, we are more, we are more prominent, along the way we have gained many things and lost other significant ones. Still, we guarantee that we are here to stay, we will continue to want to improve, and we will continue to do what we do best (and what we like best), which is to support our startups, businesses, ideas and entrepreneurs.
If some years ago the people of Lisbon decided that Startup Lisboa should exist, today we thank them, our founders, members, partners and friends! THANK YOU all!

Hub Criativo do Beato, we'll see you soon!

As you already know (or should know) Startup Lisboa is the managing entity of the Hub Criativo do Beato project. And what does this mean? Not that we're there walking around wearing a hard hat and operating a crane, but close enough! The construction work is underway, and the first residents will soon move in - Factory, that international coworking space with a community full of innovators, opens in the second half of this year!
But to let the press and the community know what is going on over there (and also to celebrate our anniversary), on Monday we organised a breakfast to brief on the current progress of the project. After that, we got equipped and, in the middle of heavy machinery and noise, we went to visit the space and show some of the locations of the residents already confirmed!

Secret City Trails

It’s not often that an event or initiative happens and Secret City Trails team is not present. And why is that? Because, our startup is one of the most community and self-help oriented - and that's worth mentioning! But that's not what we're going to talk about, but rather the breaking news we got today: Secret City Trails was invested by Transavia Ventures! This Transavia Airlines investment fund did not only endowed with 💶💶 but also with online communication, in the app and other channels. What's so great about this? Besides the bet of trust and value, the startup is even closer to its audience! Congratulations, we're proud and looking forward to seeing your growth!

Launch in Lisbon #8 ðŸ‘‰ All set!

It’s not because this is the 8th edition of our programme that we can consider ourselves specialists in the presentation of Lisbon and the incorporation of foreign businesses in our city (or can we? 🤔). Doubts aside, another edition of the Launch in Lisbon is coming, and the applications are already underway! If we can’t convince you with the well-known partners, with the business buzz, entrepreneurship and lifestyle lived in the city, or with its location in the European and world markets, maybe we can convince you with the 20ºC we’ve been feeling this week... And yes, it is February.
