HOW IS BIG TECH DRAGGING US TOWARDS THE NEXT FINANCIAL CRASH?

Today we bring slightly different content. The truth is we listened to this podcast and immediately wanted to share it with you. In this week's The Guardian's Audio Long Reads, the theme discussed is the anticipation of the financial crisis, carried out this time by big technology companies, rather than banks, as we saw happen previously. And why is that? Because, as before, some of these companies try to escape or avoid some rules and regulations. 👓 We guarantee that it’s worth listening to!

SECURITY NEEDED, HEPTASENSE!

Already working with brands like Sonae, Brisa and Alegro, they won't stop here. Heptasense is our safest startup and will now start venturing into British territory and in a different sector thanks to Serco, which is a private prison security company in the UK.
Heptasense, an expert in safety automation through motion monitoring, now enters this new market with a technology that recognises patterns of human behaviour and alerts security guards to changes in behaviour, such as crowds, in real-time. You rock!

WHAT IS THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION?

It’s increasingly easy to answer this question because, in our daily lives, we tend to live this revolution with naturalness and curiosity. Every day (literally), there is a new gadget, discovery, theory or event that shows us that we can combine technology with a bright future, if we're prepared for it. Scientist Mariette DiChristina says, "Even though we have everyday problems we have to solve, we have to find a way to lay the foundations for the innovations of tomorrow" and to us it seems that this is the way to go.
