BATCH NUMBER 2 FOR TECHSTARS LISBON IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SEMAPA NEXT HAS BEEN SELECTED!

The second edition of Techstars Lisbon in partnership with Semapa NEXT will open with ten startups, and 2 of them are ours - EMOTAI and Secret City Trails! This acceleration programme intends to support and accelerate startups in Industrial Technology, Mobility, Travel, Sustainability areas, as well as companies with far-reaching solutions that can adapt to all industries. Startup Lisboa is the only Affiliate Partner of this programme in Portugal. Techstars is a global network of entrepreneurs with programmes in various cities around the world and has been in Lisbon since 2019.
Like last year, the startups aren’t just from Portugal, but also the USA, Australia, France and Israel, and they’ll be here working non-stop for three months until the 27th of May.
Check out our startups that were involved in the 2019 edition (20tree.ai was already incubated, and Viciniti and Verbz joined Startup Lisboa later) as well as - Secret City Trails and EMOTAI – who will take part in this year’s edition! 👇

  • EMOTAI is with us since last year and is going to blow us away in this edition of the acceleration programme with its tech headbands! These biomedical engineers want to revolutionise gamers' performance. Oh yeah!

  • Secret City Trails was one of the ten startups selected for this year’s programme! They’re passionate about cities and, through games and riddles available on their app, they want their users to be too. #proud

  • 20tree.ai was the only startup from Startup Lisboa to take part in the programme’s first edition and closed with an impressive pitch! Using AI, computing and satellite images, this startup can assure forest management. 👌

  • Verbz.ai took part in the 1st edition and ended up joining Startup Lisboa after. Voice is a trend in the tech revolution and this startup will definitely be at the front line. We’re looking forward for news!

  • After a killer pitch, and just like Verbz, Viciniti has been incubated in Startup Lisboa since last year. It is infrastructure software that helps industrial organisations run secure applications on-premise.
