Secret City Trails
About this project:
Secret City Trails takes travellers and locals on urban adventures - or city discovery games - during which you solve a trail of cryptic clues via our web app (no downloads needed!). Our games are aimed to show you the details of the city that you would otherwise miss. Solving the clues puts you in the present and requires you to focus on the city instead of on your phone.
Along with each clue, you unlock stories about the sights and area you are in as well as (secret) recommendations to hidden gems and wonderful cafes and bars. The trails are a playful, unique and independent way of discovering a city.
We currently offer our 20 games in 9 cities across Europe. The cities we operate in are Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bratislava, Bordeaux, Cologne, Geneva, Haarlem, Lisbon and San Sebastian. Soon we are adding Vienna.
