Starting 2020 in Lisbon? The 8th edition of Launch in Lisbon is coming up.

If the start of a new year is reason to set new goals, dreams and achievements, why shouldn't it be a reason to start a business in a new city? Here at Startup Lisboa, we always offer opportunities to help foreign entrepreneurs start a business - or life - in our beautiful and sunny city. How do we do it? Through the Launch in Lisbon programme where, for three days, we welcome a group of entrepreneurs and companies and offer them EVERYTHING they need to know about starting a life and business in Lisbon.

Do you know someone who fits this profile perfectly? Lucky for you, or rather them, 😉 the next edition of Launch in Lisbon is coming in March! From the 11th to the 13th, we’re bringing together the most experienced partners in recruitment, legislation, real estate, finance and business to offer a “Welcome to Lisbon” kit to all participants. Applications are running until February 28th, but until the 7th you can enjoy the early bird price. 😎 More information and applications here.

Kazzify

Real estate purchasing and selling platforms are nothing new these days but... Our incubated Kazzify has come to make a difference and eliminate the middlemen in this process. By setting a fixed commission of 1990 euros (if the property is sold), the deal is settled only by the seller and buyer, thus making the process easier and faster. By entering this industry, which is one most important sectors of the economy - and with this know-how 😎 – you’re certain to be a success! You go guys!

EVENTS

  • Our city is in vogue. Many foreigners have already chosen our city to live and work and this is also what makes Lisbon global. What can happen in a work context? Some challenges and intercultural clashes arise within teams. Deborah Dahab is an expert in the subject and will be here next Wednesday for a very interesting talk. Sign up here.

  • 2 down, 1 to go! Part 3 is on its way, and this time Sarah Andersen is back to help us optimize our Facebook campaigns. Because the business may just be about selling - and because "who doesn't have social networks these days?" - participating in this event becomes essential to working on your marketing strategy. Sign up here.

  • We’ll be looking into a funny title (Empathy for Insensitive people) while adressing a topic that may be common to most founders: empathy and how it can directly influence business. Accenture's mentor Daniel Aisenberg, in an interactive talk that is bound to succeed, will help us to put ourselves in the position of others. Has your interest been sparked? Sign up here.
